The Return of the One a Day Project

I'm so excited to be returning to the One a Day Project.  I had a project all lined up but yesterday I started having wobbles.  I had spent some of the day tidying up my Ravelry page and was quite astonished at just how many outstanding projects I have on there.  So instead of introducing a new project I feel I really should tackle some of my UFO.  Here's where I need your help, I've decided I really must finish my Sunny Squares blanket.  BUT, I'm having a dilemma - do I unpick the squares I have joined (I have 48) and rejoin them in one piece or shall I carry on making another block of 16 squares, then join them ready for a border.  What do you think?

For those of you less wobbly than me, time for the fun bit! If you would like to participate in 'Tuesday's Tallies' please add your details below, remembering to use your the link for your post rather than your blog. You don't have to leave a comment (although it's very lovely when you do!) and it would be great if you could visit some of the links too. If you are participating please could you link back to this post :)

  1. Those squares are beautiful. Did you join them i a big square or rectangle? You could also just make a small blanket, or even a cushion.

  2. Make another 16 and join is my vote. You will be so happy you did. I love this group you have started. I am starting another One-A-Day today. Thanks to you I now finish my projects. Even when it gets tedious. I am very glad you are back.

  7. I agree with the others, make the other sixteen, it will give you a little while to mull over what your next one a day will be and it will make the blanket the size you originally thought you wanted it. It is, as the others said, lovely to have you back.

  15. Yay! Glad your'e back. I will join in (next week) I don't have time to add another post today. I have two projects on the go that I might use. And I have several almost finished projects. Maybe I should aim to actually finish one of them a day. LOL

  16. Oh, and my vote is for doing another block of 16 squares. Would not be much fun unpicking all those squares.

  17. Lovely to see so many people back in the group - I'll be watching with interest. I'm being very productive without the hexipuffs taking my limited knitting time up, so I'm sitting out at the moment and getting on with making lots of other things and putting together the list for my second year of projects but will be stopping by to visit the links.

Carole, I hope that all is well with you. It's good to see you back! x

  18. First of all, aloha! Yea you're back!
I so don't know how to answer your question. I think since you started that trend of linking 16 together, you might as well continue it? I don't know if linking the squares in that way shows a different result than linking them one at a time?

  19. I just stumbled across your blog while reading another, I just love this idea!

I've been wanting to start a big project but never had the motivation. I got a wonderful pattern in the library for a throw so I'm starting that tomorrow once I get the wool.

Good luck to all, hope to see the finished product soon! xx
