Simple Pleasures
I have a stash of sock yarn and no desire to make any more socks, so I've been browsing Ravelry for simple sock yarn hats to make with my stash. This week I cast on Sockhead Hat by Kelly McClure, with some Strumpf-und Sportgarn yarn. I'm really enjoying the mindless knitting, just going round and round and waiting for the colours to change. Such a simple pleasure.....

And I think we really need it, just to get a break from all those more complicated projects, where you need no interruption at all unless you won't frog.

Really pretty colours, I have a skein of sock yarn left with little intention of making more socks, maybe I should have a browse about too!

ReplyDeleteIt looks great :) At the moment I can't imagine not wanting any more handknit socks, but that might be because I only have a few pairs so far!
ReplyDeleteOoh, pretty yarn! Would make some pretty hexipuffs (Hi, I'm Suzanne and I'm a hexipuff adict haha). You could also make a cute little blanket with it. Can't wait to see it finished.
