Time

I wish I could find more time in my busy days to blog more, but it's just not happening. My days seem to be endlessly filled with tending to the children, walking backwards and forwards to school several times a day and oh my the laundry in our house really does reach epic proportions at times. Right now, the older three children are playing together upstairs - an elaborate game, involving bags, stuffed toys and chocolate brownie! Pippa is tootling round downstairs, she does a lot of tootling! And me, I'm sitting here in my PJ's writing this before heading off to tackle some ironing. Later, I am hoping to catch a few moments of precious time to make another one of these.......These squares are to send off to the lovely Jill at Stocki who is hosting a fabulous Crochet Competition, please do go and have a look, it's such a brilliant idea.

  1. I love it, I am still trying to figure out what kind of squares I want to submit. I hate laundry don't you. Have a great weekend.

  2. Such pretty colors! Will hop over and see what's going on with the competition. Like you though, I wish I could slow life down a bit. Popping in to say on a few folks I've not heard from in awhile, hoping to see what's up.

  3. Those squares look lovely, I haven't decided which ones to do yet. But it's such a good idea.
I feel like I constantly battle against the pile of laundry!! I'm sure they don't wear half of it.
Hope you have a great weekend ..... after the ironing.

  4. We call it a 'the clothes mountain' in this house and even with only boys it is huge!

I'm joining in too, but will not think about it until I've done the other things first....goodness knows when that will be!

  6. Ahhh yes I know that feeling so well... I call it, "Slaying the washing dragon" (or ironing dragon), as in..."I'm off to slay the dragon"... my children all know what I mean... they just sigh, as you would to a really uncool Mum who refers to her washing as a dragon :) It makes me happy :) Thanks for the heads up about the Beautiful Blogger Blanket Carole.. your square is looking tantalizingly gorgeous! :)x

  8. Love the colours you have chosen! Beautiful! I sometimes wonder if life will ever slow down. Not likely I think. LOL As long as I get a little knitting, crochet or needlework done though, I am a happy girl! The only way to get the washing pile down is to supply them with LESS clothes.
