Firstly some progress reports but no photos I'm afraid. The ripple blanket is about 19 rows from being finished and then it's needs a border. I really want to get this finished soon, but I just can't seem to get my act together with it :( I also have a Claudia Scarf on the go with some wonderful autumn coloured yarn. It works up really quickly and the pattern is easy to remember. It's a perfect 'during the day' project as the a row takes about 5 minutes, so it's easy to pick up and put down, especially with children!
And finally, this is a new WIP - crochet Hexapuffs. I've been fiddling and faffing with these little puffs for a while now, experimenting with yarns and stuffing and I'm now happy with them! I'm using lots of different 4ply yarns, leaving them unstuffed and the long term plan is to make a quilt for our settee. The pattern is on Ravelry here. And in my very humble opinion it's the better of the crochet puff patterns.
So there we go, my WIP update, why don't you head over to Tami's blog and see what everyone else is working on.
Such pretty colours, I will enjoy seeing how you get on with this one!
ReplyDeleteOh those are gorgeous. Love the colours. Please excuse my tardiness, I forgot to do my one a day but have linked up today as I briefly touched on it in todays post. ;-)

ReplyDeleteOooh, those puffs (are they still puffs if you aren't stuffing them I wonder!) are gorgeous. I hadn't seen that version of the crochet puff, but I agree that it's the nicest one. Love the colours of the 4 you've done.
ReplyDeleteOh, how cool! I've seen lots of knitters talking about hexipuffs recently, and wondered about a crochet version. I shall have to dig my little yarn remnants out and have a go. Those colours are going to make a gorgeous quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely pattern, and lovely colours!
ReplyDeleteI love your puffs! They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe little star versions look like a nice puff, I am looking forward to seeing more of them
ReplyDeleteLove your puffless puffs! As I'm starting my own puff journey, I'm wishing I had your eye for color -- it's a bit intimidating trying to make it all work out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute crocheted hexipuff! I love the little star shape :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous 'puffs, Carole - I love the colours (as always - you put colours together so well)

ReplyDeleteIts good to see you back on WIPW. I really like the Claudia scarf - never spotted that one before. Your puffs are great - they look better in crochet than knitted. I may even be tempted now! xx
ReplyDeleteI like your puffs - very subtle colors, I look forward to seeing how you put them together :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like the scarf, I think I may put that on my 'to do' list for Christmas....I really should write this down as it is probably quite big in reality!
