Blue Skies

Look at the sky, just look at how pretty it is. Such a lovely shade of blue with puffy white clouds. It still windy and there is still a nip in the air but oh how lovely to wake up to sunshine streaming into the bedroom and beautiful blue skies.

The other half is off on a road trip today, to collect some parts for his car so that leaves me and the littlies at home to ponder what to make for tea and to deal with the laundry that didn't get done yesterday.

And my Mum should be coming home today too. She had surgery on her foot on Monday and became very unwell on Monday night. She was too wobbly to come home yesterday but fingers crossed she is less wobbly today and can continue to recover at home.

I made this gorgeous zingy Japanese flower yesterday and I had no idea what to do with it other than admiring how pretty it was but I think I shall turn it into a Get Well Soon card just for Mum.

She is just 8 months old and look at her! I think she's going to be a mischievous little thing, she's got that look in her eyes!
