I found this lovely pattern for a baby hat using sock yarn and decided to give it a go. I had to get myself some teeny tiny circular needles as I'm still overwhelmed by using DPN's and here we go, the finished result. I used some Sublime Baby Cashmere 4ply and have some pink to do another one as we don't know whether we are having a boy or a girl. Obviously I had to use DPN's and got all in a muddle at the last lot of decreases as my DPN's are just cheap shiny metal ones and they kept slipping out of the stitches, but I've done it and I'm very proud of myself. I've even ordered some lovely self striping sock yarn to have another go.
