Long Time - No Blog

I am such a bad blogger! I really enjoyed being here before Christmas and now it's the least of my priorities to come on here - keep up with the blogs I like to read and update my own! I don't even really know what I have been getting upto which is keeping me so busy and away from the computer, although I am doing alot of knitting still. Below is a photograph of my first ever knitted garment, I've done blankets and scarves before but never have I followed a pattern to produce something so you can imagine how proud of myself I am feeling. I've used cotton yarn as I really am not that keen on the feel of acrylic wool, but I am not totally convinced this is going to be soft enough for a new baby's head. I've got some merino wool which is very very soft so I might do a couple in that too. The cotton yarn (of which I now have several balls) is going to be knitted into a blanket to match my gorgeous new pram, but I've so many other projects of the go I don't know when I am going to get it started!

Anyway I will leave you to admire my baby hat!
